Depth of field photography / aperture is sized to measure aperture (how much the lens open) when we take a picture / photo, a hole that was in front of the camera sensor will open. The amount of openings is what we call the depth of field photography/aperture, the greater the hole open, the more light that enters the camera sensor. Aperture or opening calculated in units of f-stop. We often refer to as aperture / aperture 5.6 or any other number, the more formal language of photography can be expressed as f / 5.6 or so (starting with f / …).
